Our
Mission

To operate the leading specialty wooden crate, packaging, and shipping company in the Inland Northwest.

Founded in 1959, CW Crates & Pallets has maintained its standing as a company built on customer service and a superior product. President and owner, Frank Duffy, has taken this standing to a higher level by streamlining the process of accepting an order to invoicing, investing in highly-trained staff, automating equipment, and taking steps to offer customers the optimal solution for a fair price.

ABOUT THE REBRAND

Recently, Frank rebranded the business to better reflect CW’s custom crating and pallet services. As part of the rebrand, the name was changed from CW Products (CWP) to CW Crates & Pallets. This rebrand is the first step in an expansion that will include reaching an online market with a selection of pre-made, standard size pallets and crates. CW’s continued growth will also encompass a deeper reach into the local market with product and industry education and consultations that put customers’ best interest above getting the sale.

President and Owner

As President of CW, Frank focuses on maximizing process efficiencies, finding new market opportunities, and developing his management so the staff can succeed at their jobs.

After earning a degree in International Business at Washington State University, plus a year at the University of Copenhagen, Frank's career included stints at prestigious companies like IBM, Oracle, and Exodus. He then took a gamble on a small private investment management services firm, increasing sales by 700% before it sold at peak of market. That success enabled him to acquire CW Crates & Pallets in 2012.

Frank spends his free time with family by traveling, skiing, and weekends on Lake Pend Oreille.

In her role, Heidi manages business finances and CW's Crates & Pallets' Internet strategy. She has an undergraduate in Sociology from the University of Washington and a Masters in School Counseling from Gonzaga.

Heidi is also a CASA volunteer, advocating for abused and neglected children in family court. In her free time Heidi enjoys Yoga, Pilates, hiking, skiing, movies, and travel.

80 percent of Spokane’s top manufacturers who ship goods around the world trust CW’s 60 years of experience.
